Defibrillator
A defibrillator is a device that gives a high energy electric shock to the heart through the chest wall to someone who is in cardiac arrest.
This is called defibrillation, and it's an essential lifesaving step in the chain of survival. Our Village has a defbrillator and it is located on the side of the Carlton Inn, just on the left as you enter the Car Park from the road. When you ring for an ambulance, they will tell you the access code to the defibrillator and what to do with it. |
